Do I need to come in for a skills check?No. Our online renewal option is designed for returning students who are already confident in their skills. There is no in-person skills check required.
Who should use the online renewal option?Online renewal is intended for individuals who have previously completed the course and are comfortable performing the required skills. If you are new to the course or would like hands-on practice with an instructor, we recommend taking an in-person class.
How quickly can I complete my renewal?You can complete your assigned coursework on your own schedule. Once all requirements have been successfully completed, we will process your certification.
How long is my certification valid?HSI CPR, AED, and First Aid certification is also valid for two years.
Will my employer accept an online renewal?Certification requirements vary by employer, facility, licensing agency, and state. We strongly recommend confirming your employer’s requirements before purchasing if you are unsure whether this renewal format meets their requirements. Upon successful completion, you will receive the same certification issued through our traditional classroom program.
Can I take the course from anywhere?Yes. Because the renewal process is online, you can complete your coursework from anywhere with internet access.
